Balh Valley, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh

Balh Valley:-

The Balh valley lies in Mandi locale at a normal rise of 800 meters. This is otherwise called Sundernagar valley and is wide open dun sort valley between an off shoot of the Shimla Ridge in the North and Shivalik slopes in the South. The valley extends from Gutker in the North to Sundernagar in the South, Baggi in the East and Gumma in the West. Suketi stream partitions this valley generally into two sections. The dirt found in this valley is soil in surface and light dim to cocoa in shading. The fundamental products are wheat, maize, sugarcane, ginger and paddy. To advance blended cultivating, dairying, creature farming, vegetable development and cultivation, manuring and soil preservation Indo-German Agriculture Project was begun in this valley in November 1962.
