The
Harmandir Sahib and Darbar Sahib are mostly known as Golden Temple
which is situated in Amritsar, India. The Fourth Sikh Guru founded
this city named as Guru Ram Das. The Golden Temple is designed by the
Guru Arjan, the fifth Sikh Guru. During the year of 1604, the
Guru Arjan completed the Adi Granth which is the holy scripture
Sikhism and installed it in the Harmandir Sahib. There are four main
doors to enter into the Golden Temple. Toward the other religions and
people it is the symbol of the openness of Sikhs. With the help of
other Sikh Mislst, the Jassa Singh Ahluwalia rebuilt the temple in
the year of 1764. During the time period of the nineteenth century,
After securing the Punjab region from outsider enemy attacks, the
emperor Maharaja Ranjit Singh covered the upper floor of the temple
with gold, which gives it a new English name as Golden Temple.
The
Sikh considered this temple holy. The holy book of Sikhism named as
Guru Granth Sahib is present in the temple during the daytime and
night time shifted to Sukhasan. Approximately 100,000 people visited
the Golden Temple to worship the god and also enjoy the free
community meal which is the hallmark of each Sikh Gurudwaras. Sikh
Celebrated the Vaisakhi festival as the founding of the Khalsa and
they celebrate this festival joyful in Harmandir Sahib. Many other
Sikh religious days are celebrated with religious piety such as the
birth of Guru Raamdas
Ji, the birthday of Guru Nanak who was the founder of Sikh, Guru Teg
Bahadur martyrdom day, etc. On the day of Diwali, the charm of Golden
temple increased so much. The diyas and other decorative accessories
are used to decorate the temple. Tourist from other countries visit
