The Great Wall of China


The Great Wall of China is one of among seven wonders in the world. It is an ancient wall constructed by the brick, wood, tamped earth, brick, etc. It was constructed to protect the north of China empire from enemy attacks. It is one of the longest structure constructed by the humans. It is approximately 21,196 kilometers and thirty feet wide or fifteen meters high. The first section of the wall was constructed throughout the mixture of dirt and stone and laterally they used bricks. For a soldier, there are seven thousands watch towers or block houses to send smoke signals. The wall includes nineteen walls, which makes the Great Wall of China. The first wall was built in the time period of 7th century BC. It was built by the emperor of China named as Qin Shai Hong. The Qin Dynasty was started by the first emperor of China. In the north of China, Xiongnu tribes are their enemies which are mostly known Huns.
           The some parts of the China are easy to cross, so the emperor Qin Shi Hauang started construction of the Great Wall to difficult for the Huns to attack China. The other dynasties of Qin Shi Hauang worked more on the wall and made it more longer. The builder uses the material which are nearby and some parts of the wall are constructed using, twigs, mud, straw, etc. During the construction of the Great Wall of China thousands of workers died due to disease, starvation, animal attacks, falling stones. The construction workers who died during the construction were buried under the great wall. The Great Wall of China shows up in the radar images which are taken from the space. As per the scientist says, it's possible to see the Great Wall of China from the space with the naked eye. Every year, the Great Wall of China attract so much tourist. It is also known as border of China.
