Manti Temple Kinnaur

Mathi is the local goddess of Chhitkul Village in Kinnaur. This temple is one of those which are constructed five hundred years ago by the resident of Garhwal. The square ark of the goddess is made of walnut wood and is secured with garments and surmounted by a tuft of yak tail, which is carried by two shafts called bayanga. As per legend says that the Devi started her journey from Brindvan or passed by Badri Nath or Mathura and laterally reached Tibat. When she come to Garhwal, by Sirmour and reached at the Barua Khad. She found that the reason separated into seven sections. The deity of Shaung Village was her nephew. She appointed him to monitor the tarritory and then she contnued to Chasu town. She further went to Sangla where her another nephew, Barang Nag, was in charge of defending the Rupin Ghati. Now a days, in the morning the pujares bring water from nearby spring and worship the goddess during this various musical instruments are played.

Chandika Temple Kinnaur

A critical sanctuary in Kinnaur, Chandika Temple is arranged in Kothi in Sairag. This sanctuary is committed to Chandika, who is venerated as the most intense god in Kinnaur. In the sanctuary, the brilliant icon of Chandika is swung on a palanquin by four enthusiasts who always move. Malana Village Himachal Pradesh



Malana is an ancient town, belong to Himachal Pradesh. It is a side valley of Parvati Valley, located in the north east of Kullu. It is a solitary village isolated from the rest of the world. According to tradition the residents of Malana village are descendant of Aryans and they acquired their independence after Emperor Akbar walked to the town to cure an ailment and successfully cured. Then he inhabitants all the valley to never pay the tax. From the alternative tradition suggests that the Malana village was formed by The Alexander the Great's Army remnants. There are many ancient temples in the Malan Village such as Jamlu Temple, Rukmini Temple, etc.

Konark Temple Sun Entering



Konark Sun Temple Konark belongs to 13th century and located at Konark, Odisha, India. As per the legend says this Sun Temple was constructed by the king Narasimhadeva I, dynasty of the Eastern Ganga approximately 150 CE. The sun temple looks like a giant chariot including stone wheels, walls and pillars. The main part of Konark Sun Temple is still ruined. It is a UNSESO World Heritage site and also listed in seven wonders in India. The name of the temple Konark is driven from the Sanskrit words Kona and Arka word belong to Sun and the temple is dedicated to the Sun god Surya. The Konark Sun Temple is constructed at the mouth of the Chndrabhaga river. 
The temple was constructed in the form of a giant chariot of the Sun god Surya. Kondalite rocks are used in the construction of this temple. The temple had a sanctorum which was approximately 229 feet or 70m tall. Due to the heavy weight of 70m tall Sanctorum, the Vimana felled in the year of 1837. The audience hall of Sun Temple still stands and dance hall, dining hall are survive to the current day. The temple is also famous for its erotic sculptures named as maithunas. The two small temples are also located near the Konark Temple such as Mayadevi temple and Vaishanava deity. 
The Mayadevi temple is located southwest of the entrance of the Sun Temple. Mayadevi is one of the Sun God's wives. The sculptures of Varaha, Trivikrama and Balarama are also set up at the site. Tourist came there each year to worship the Sun God or saw the architectural and sculptural work of the temple. The stone surpasses the human language.Konark Temple Sun Entering.

What is Special About the Golden Temple



The Harmandir Sahib and Darbar Sahib are mostly known as Golden Temple which is situated in Amritsar, India. The Fourth Sikh Guru founded this city named as Guru Ram Das. The Golden Temple is designed by the Guru Arjan, the fifth Sikh Guru. During the year of 1604, the Guru Arjan completed the Adi Granth which is the holy scripture Sikhism and installed it in the Harmandir Sahib. There are four main doors to enter into the Golden Temple. Toward the other religions and people it is the symbol of the openness of Sikhs. With the help of other Sikh Mislst, the Jassa Singh Ahluwalia rebuilt the temple in the year of 1764. During the time period of the nineteenth century, After securing the Punjab region from outsider enemy attacks, the emperor Maharaja Ranjit Singh covered the upper floor of the temple with gold, which gives it a new English name as Golden Temple. 
The Sikh considered this temple holy. The holy book of Sikhism named as Guru Granth Sahib is present in the temple during the daytime and night time shifted to Sukhasan. Approximately 100,000 people visited the Golden Temple to worship the god and also enjoy the free community meal which is the hallmark of each Sikh Gurudwaras. Sikh Celebrated the Vaisakhi festival as the founding of the Khalsa and they celebrate this festival joyful in Harmandir Sahib. Many other Sikh religious days are celebrated with religious piety such as the birth of Guru Raamdas Ji, the birthday of Guru Nanak who was the founder of Sikh, Guru Teg Bahadur martyrdom day, etc. On the day of Diwali, the charm of Golden temple increased so much. The Great Wall of China


The Great Wall of China is one of among seven wonders in the world. It is an ancient wall constructed by the brick, wood, tamped earth, brick, etc. It was constructed to protect the north of China empire from enemy attacks. It is one of the longest structure constructed by the humans. It is approximately 21,196 kilometers and thirty feet wide or fifteen meters high. The first section of the wall was constructed throughout the mixture of dirt and stone and laterally they used bricks. For a soldier, there are seven thousands watch towers or block houses to send smoke signals. The wall includes nineteen walls, which makes the Great Wall of China. The first wall was built in the time period of 7th century BC. It was built by the emperor of China named as Qin Shai Hong. The Qin Dynasty was started by the first emperor of China. In the north of China, Xiongnu tribes are their enemies which are mostly known Huns.
           The some parts of the China are easy to cross, so the emperor Qin Shi Hauang started construction of the Great Wall to difficult for the Huns to attack China. The other dynasties of Qin Shi Hauang worked more on the wall and made it more longer. The builder uses the material which are nearby and some parts of the wall are constructed using, twigs, mud, straw, etc. During the construction of the Great Wall of China thousands of workers died due to disease, starvation, animal attacks, falling stones. The construction workers who died during the construction were buried under the great wall. The Great Wall of China shows up in the radar images which are taken from the space. As per the scientist says, it's possible to see the Great Wall of China from the space with the naked eye. Every year, the Great Wall of China attract so much tourist. It is also known as border of China.

Taj Mahal Agra, India


The Taj Mahal is counted among the seven wonders in the world. It is known as a token of love, which build by a husband in the memory of his dear wife. It is located on the southern bank of Yamuna river in Agra, India. The Taj Mahal construction work was started in the year of 1632 by the commissioned of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. He built this for its favorite wife named as Mumtaz. The construction work of Taj Mahal was completed in the year of 1643 but some works continued which take approximately ten years to complete. The construction project have more than 20,000 artisans which worked under the guidance of Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. Taj Mahal is one of the best example of Mughal architecture which is recognized as the jewel of Muslim art in India. Taj Mahal is one of the most celebrated structures in the world and also a symbol of rich history of India. Each year the Taj Mahal attract more than three million tourists. During the time period of 2007, it was declared that it is one of the seven wonders in the world. The tomb is the main focal center of the Taj Mahal. The external decoration of Taj Mahal show the finest architecture of Mughal. The interior chamber of the Mahal is well furnished with decorative elements. The complex of Taj Mahal is approximately three hundred square called Charbagh and path divide it in four quarters. The whole complex is bordered by crenellated red sandstone walls from three sides. The graves of the Shahjahan and the Mumtaj Mahal had made in the Taj Mahal.
