Kamaksha Devi sanctuary is arranged in Kao, 7km from Karsog (found 100km from the state capital of Shimla, Karsog is a mind blowing dish molded valley, put in the midst of apple plantations) in Mandi area, Himachal Pradesh. The sanctuary is committed to Goddess Durga. It is gathered that Goddess Durga vanquished Mahishasur (an evil spirit as a wild ox) here. Different wild oxen are yielded each year amid Navratri.
