Kamru Nag Lake, Mandi Himachal Pradesh

Kamru Nag Lake:-



Kamru Nag Lake is one of the charming places in Mandi district. This temple is located 63 Kilometer away from the Mandi on Karsog Road. The temple also has similar lake like Parasher Lake. The temple has its own story, As per old say's that the Lord Kamru Nag wanted to participate in Mahabharat battle. But some reason he can't take part in the battle. He requested to Lord Krishna to watch Mahabharata Battle. The Krishna take his neck and put in on a bamboo, where he can watch the Mahabharata. The Lord Kamru Nag watched all the Mahabharat battle until its end. After finishing the battle Padava worship him as there Thakur. When Pandava going to heaven, they take him. They put him many places, but at last they put him and not able to pick. Then Dhim slapt him and blessed him that in Kalyug the all people worship you. During the time period of summer, villagers visit to the temple to pray Lord Kamru Nag for rain. In the middle of June month a three days grant fair held every year. The Kamru Nag Lake is contain various gold, coins, silver ornaments and much more. Kamru Nag Lake is about 3334 meters above from sea level. It is so much crowded during the fair and visitor came here to enjoy their fabulous time.
