Thakurdwara Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh


Thakurdwara of Sunhani was built by the Chandel emperor. It houses the temple which is committed to Nar Singh Devta. Sunhani is a historical place located on the Gumarwin road Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. During the time period of King Vikram Chand, it was the capital of Kethlor (1555-1593 A.D.). It also remained government seat of government seat for approximately hundred years. The gupta period architecture and drawing was used to construct the entrance of the Thakurdwara which is known as Jharokhas. In the backside of the Thakurdawa there are many images of goddesses are arranged. The temple attract tourist so much. The villages devoted some new harvested corps and milk to the divinity. A ficus tree is locating n the compound of the Thakurdwara and it’s compulsory for new married couples to observe around this tree, which is known as pradakshina.
