The Brajeshwari Devi Temple
The
Brajeshwari Devi Temple is situated in Kangra, which was fabricated
over the singed bosoms of Sati. This is the frightened holy place
which is prestigious for its extraordinary riches. Over the ages and
decades it has been ravaged tenaciously. Mahmud of Ghazni was the
initially pillaged and plundered it in 1009. After around 35 years,
the neighborhood King recaptured its ownership. The terrified altar
was repaired and an imitation of the symbol was cherished. The
Brajeshwari Devi sanctuary was loaded with gold, silver and jewels.
In
the year 1360, then later Firoz Shah Tughlaq again scoured it. After
him Emperor Akbar went by the sanctuary with his Dewan, Toder Mal and
restored its previous greatness. In the year of 1905 because of a
seismic tremor, the sanctuary was demolished however another
sanctuary was raised on that year.
