Jogindernagar, Mandi Himachal Pradesh

Joginder Nagar is approximately 57 kilometer far from Mandi and famous for Barot valley, which is one of the most charming places. Many tourist came here to enjoy their lovely life moments. The name of Joginder Nagar taken from the name of Raja Joginder Sen, king of Mandi. In all over Asia, Jogindernagar is the only one town which has three hydro electric power stations. Due to these power stations the Joginder Nagar is also known as The City of Powerhouses. In Himachal Pradesh Joginder Nagar is the first city which has free Wi-Fi Zone. There are lot of destinations to visit such as Haulage-way Trolley, Winch Camp, Barot, Shanan Power House, Bassi Power House, Macchyal lake, Tarangari Mahadev, Lakshminarayana Temple, Baba Balakrupi Temple, Mata Chaturbuja Temple, Mata Maheshwari Temple, etc.

About Mandi

Mandi is mainly known as Mandav Nagar. It is situated in 153 kilometers north from the state capital, Shimla. Mandi is connected to Pathankot through the National highway Number 21. It is the largest city of the Himachal Pardesh and total area of 23 kilometers. The city is the currently second largest economy in the state next to Kangra. Mandi is the third largest population state after the Shimla and Solan. Indian Institute of Technology is situated in the city. The city was established by the Ajbar sen. The city is widely known for its international festival names as Shivaratri Fair.
