Himachal State Museum and Library

State Museum and Library is located in Shimla, which is a capital of
Himachal Pradesh. The museum was opened in the year of 1974. In this
museum many ancient historical painting, coins, photos, sculptures
items are collected. It is also equipped with a library, which has a
great collection of manuscripts and historical books. The visiting
time for Himachal State Museum and Library is morning 10AM to Evening
5PM and on Monday it is closed or also on gazetted holidays. Tourist
came here to see the ancient collection of books, painting and beauty
of Shimla. The entry fees for Indian is twenty rupees and hundred
rupees for foreigner.
